Wenn ich Gnome starte, bekomme ich folgende Meldung:

Beim Starten des GNOME-Einstellungsdämons ist ein Fehler aufgetreten.

Möglicherweise funktionieren einige Dinge, wie z.B. Themen, Klänge oder Hintergrundeinstellungen nicht korrekt.

Der Einstellungsdämon wurde zu oft neu gestartet.

Die letzte Fehlermeldung war:

System exception: IDL:Bonobo/GeneralError:1.0 : Kindprozess gab keine Fehlermeldung aus. Ein unbekannter Störfall trat auf

Beim nächsten Anmelden wird GNOME weiterhin versuchen, den Einstellungsdämon neu zu starten.


Ich habe daraufhin schon mal ein emerge -e world gemacht, weil ich mal was mit cflags probiert habe. Hat nichts geholfen. Dann habe ich beim Nutzer alle Konfigurationsdateien gelöscht, hat auch nichts geholfen. Hat da jemand eine Idee?

Ich habs hinbekommen. Ich habe wegen der Nvidiatreiber ein Downgrade von Xorg 7.1 auf 7.0 gemacht. Und da mußte ich die xorg.conf neu erstellen.
