|
|
While on startup net.eth0 starts before netmount, I've noticed recently that on shutdown neth.eth0 runs before netmount. As a result mounted samba shares cannot be unmounted by netmount (network is already down), which results in slow shutdown as the system has to wait for the netmount script to time out.
Is there a problem with the init dependancies here that can be fixed, or is the solution just to mod the net.eth0 script to call netmount first on stop?
The depends on my system are as follows:
/etc/init.d/net.eth0 uses coldplug hotplug pcmcia usb isdn4linux wlan
/etc/init.d/netmount needs net
TIA,
