Hi all,

I have recently updated my gentoo on my PB G4 12'' and so I get new kernel headers installed. As I have built the new 2.6.17 kernel. I had to emerge mol once again. And now it doesn't compile cause of a problem in the if-tap.c driver. NETLINK_TAPBASE no more exist. I 'm not at all familiar with the portage compilation process, so I have hacked the installation, with a substitution of the if-tap.c file during the compilation process with a version which uses NETLINK_GENERIC instead. It works. and mol run like charm but it's pretty dirty. Is someone can tell me how to do it better ?

That's the right way to do it.

I'm working on a new version of MOL to address this.

Thanks for the answer and the very good job you've done on mol. Now, I can use it with thousands color in console mode. It was impossible in earlier versions of the kernel.
:D
Do you have any refence documentation about the implementation of mol? I'm very interested in it.
