Hi all,
I have recently updated my gentoo on my PB G4 12'' and so I get new kernel headers installed. As I have built the new 2.6.17 kernel. I had to emerge mol once again. And now it doesn't compile cause of a problem in the if-tap.c driver. NETLINK_TAPBASE no more exist. I 'm not at all familiar with the portage compilation process, so I have hacked the installation, with a substitution of the if-tap.c file during the compilation process with a version which uses NETLINK_GENERIC instead. It works. and mol run like charm but it's pretty dirty. Is someone can tell me how to do it better ? |

Thanks for the answer and the very good job you've done on mol. Now, I can use it with thousands color in console mode. It was impossible in earlier versions of the kernel.
Do you have any refence documentation about the implementation of mol? I'm very interested in it. |
