I got the auto-mount working for a few drives. But what I'm trying to do is get a script or something when auto-mounted it checks the space on the pen drive then copies 1 of 3 files to the drive depending on space.
Anyone have ideas on this?

Supposing you're using ivman to automount, there are some suggestions on how to formulate rules for ivman in the wiki at http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_ivman
That doesn't write your script, but it should at least give you a general idea how to do it.
