Postfix plus address format not working

Hello All, I am trying to get postfix to deliver spam to specific folder called junk, by using the plus address technique

I set this in my main.cf

Postfix doesn't do any filtering with the email address. You will need to filter in your MUA or on the server with procmail.

Thanks for your feedback.

So I guess I am confused as to why postfix would allow plus addresses if it does not do anything or add the ability to do anything extra...

Basically it's a way for a user to have his own namespace.

kashani+amazon.com@
kashani+borders.com@
kashani+ebay.com@

All those would be delivered to my maildir and then I can filter to my hearts content based on "+$string" That was the purpose it was intended for and how most people use it.
