I don't know if this is the correct forum to put this in, but here goes. I have a x86 Gentoo 2006 server running IceCream from a remote location. How can I add my home machine as a node to my remote server? I have plenty of bandwidth (3meg at home, 5meg at remote) so just for experimentation purposes, I want to connect them together to do some compilation tests. Any help would be greatly appreciated... |

Open the relevant ports in both firewalls http://en.opensuse.org/Icecream#Network_setup_for_Icecream_.28firewalls.29 and set ICECREAM_SCHEDULER_HOST in /etc/conf.d/icecream to the IP address of the machine running the scheduler. |
