|
|
Hi,
Seems to me like the output to png files doesn't work properly:
Code: |
#!/usr/bin/gnuplot
set term png
set out "test.png"
plot "FILE" with points pointtype 7
|
This produces crosses as points and not - as with postscript - circles... What can I do? (I don't want to produce ps and convert it to png)
Best regards. |

Some info from gnuplot manual: Quote: | All terminal drivers support at least six different point types, and re-use them, in order, if more are required. The LaTeX driver supplies an additional six point types (all variants of a circle), and thus will only repeat after 12 curves are plotted with points. The PostScript drivers (postscript) supplies a total of 64. | My png driver can produce 13 different point types (unfortunately it does not produce circles). Just inspect all symbols from png driver and choose the symbol you like. Another option is to change driver if you are not satisfied with png or need more point types. _________________ Pozdrawiam,
