I'm at a college where the APs are hidden, and protected by WEP. Going "iwconfig wlan0 essid student1 key xxxxxxxxxx" doesn't do anything. iwconfig again afterwards tells me that my AP is set to "Off/Any." The driver is ndiswrapper. Any hints? Thanks!

- did you try "open" and "restricted" options?
- MAC filter?
- wrong key?
