|
|
With recent versions of Firefox (currently, 1.5.0.6), the browser freezes immediately upon completion of a print job (with print progress indicator stuck). I have to terminate the process and restart to use browser further. This occurs after printing to file or preview as well as to printer. Same problem with Firefox emerged from source or with binary. Printing works fine with Mozilla (1.7.12), Konqueror, and other apps. For what it's worth, here are typical error messages I get when Firefox is killed after starting in terminal:
/usr/libexec/mozilla-launcher: line 119: 2085 Killed
or
/usr/libexec/mozilla-launcher: line 119: 2022 Segmentation fault
I've unsuccessfully changed too many things to mention here, but they include removing ~/.mozilla directory before emerging and emerging using xprint.
I'm using cups-1.1.23-r7
Thanks in advance for any help with this. |
