Bonjour à tous!
Je viens requérir votre aide pour un problème bizare.

J'ai un portable basé sur l'architecture Centrino: Centrino 2Ghz, 1Go de ram, carte graphique intel 855GM.

J'avais réussi à faire fonctionner la mise en veille du portable : je le ferme, il se met en veille, je le rouvre, il se réveille sans problème.

Sauf que depuis un certains temps (qui correspond peut etre à la mise à jours vers xorg7.0), quand je le réveille, xorg crash. Je vois le pointeur de la souris une seconde ou deux puis l'écran semble clignoter deux fois puis je me retrouve en console. Si j'ai le maleur d'appuyer sur CTRL+ALT+F7, la console plante à son tour. Tout ce qu'il me reste à faire est d'appuyer sur le bouton power pour arrêter le portable.

Voilà, je ne suis pas sûr de donner toutes les infos, ou j'en donne peut etre trop. Le problème est que je ne sais pas d'où peut provenir ce crash.

Je pense que je viens de résoudre mon problème.

En lisant le fichier /etc/hibernate/hibernate.conf, je me suis rendu compte que le système était configuré pour utilisé suspend2 (patch du noyau). Or, je pense me souvenir avoir utilisé l'acpi pour gérer la mise en veille et je n'ai jamais installé le patch du noyau suspend2. J'ai donc changé la config pour utiliser l'acpi et ca fonctionne comme avant!!!

Donc, dans le fichier /etc/hibernate/hibernate.conf : commenter la ligne :

UseSuspend2 yes


Et décommenter la ligne :

UseACPISleep 4


Il faut aussi changer le 4 en 3 pour le suspend to ram au lieu du suspend to disque :

Et la mise en veille se remet à fonctionner comme avant!
