Does anybody know, how to get libxft1

I'm runnung a modular xorg-7 and want to use GaussView.

But this program still need libxft1 and in the portage is only libxft2.

I took the libxft source from debian but then an other error ocours: libexpat is missing.....

Does anybody know how to get programms running that still need libxft1

Try ln -s /usr/lib/libexpat.so.0.5.0 /usr/lib/libexpat.so.1
and also delete libxft that you took from .deb and do
ln -s /usr/lib/libXft.so.2.1.2 /usr/lib/libXft.so.1
