Hi All
My Netcomm ADSL modem has gone kapoot. So I am planning to buy a wireless ADSL modem.
Can someone please tell me what are the general steps involved with installing a wirless setup ?
For example do I need to do anything with the kernel? Are there any documentation on Gentoo specific install?
I am planning to get the d-link AirPlus G - should I be aware of anything like the chipset ?

Thankyou
Shelton. |

if you can get a wireless card working on your desktop, it shouldn't matter what wireless router you have. i italicize because sometimes there are exceptions and sometimes i am wrong....
anyway i would spend most of your my time worrying about getting a good card for my desktop if i were you.
or maybe you have one already? _________________ Configuring a Firewall? Try my iptables configuration
