can't find info about ATA Work option in kernel...

Does someone know what is the "ATA Work(s)" option in IDE, ATA and ATAPI Block devices section ???

the only clue is CONFIG_IDEDMA_PCI_WIP... but this doesn't help me much...

searching for those terms in Google gives lot of results, but it's only pages which link to patches or sources :(

btw. no one reply because my question is st00p1d or because no one knows ?
