Moved from Installing Gentoo to Other Things Gentoo.
Gentoo doesn't upgrade config files in /etc automatically, so your setting will stay as they are until you run etc-update (or a replacement like dispatch-conf). However newer versions of packages may stop working until you upgrade their config files too. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved.
