Hi all,

Just finished installing a fresh copy of Gentoo on my desktop but I;m having a problem mounting my USB Floppy drive. When I insert a disk and attempt to mount it I get the following error.

Code:

Method "Mount" with signature "ssas" on interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" doesn't exist

I've searched Google but could not find an answer to this issue. It seems to be kinda widespread but no answers. If anybody has any suggestions please help.

Yes I did and it throws up a wrong fs error, tried auto, vfat, and msdos. I know the disk is good because I've booted from it before. I also tried it on my laptop which is running Kubuntu and get the same result.
