I have a Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller in my IBM X60 Thinkpad.
I use the i810 driver with xorg 7.1 (i386), but it doesn't work as I get no higher resolution than 1024x768 and no 3D opengl acceleration. It just works like vesa, but I specified the i810 in xorg.conf.
I tried xorg 7.0 before and I also didn't work.

I use these package.keywords for xorg-x11:
Code:
# Unmask X.org X11R7.1
media-libs/mesa
x11-drivers/xf86-video-vmware
x11-drivers/xf86-input-evdev
x11-drivers/xf86-input-mouse
x11-drivers/xf86-input-keyboard
x11-base/xorg-server
x11-apps/mesa-progs
x11-base/xorg-x11
x11-drivers/xf86-video-i810
x11-drivers/xf86-video-vesa
sys-apps/855resolution

This is my xorg.conf

Is this a problem that can be solved somehow?

This is an interesting part of the xorg log:

I tried them and it is still not high-res and no 3D acceleration.

You may also want to install x11-drm.

I did this now, but resolution is the same and now I get no "you have software rendering only" warning anymore from googleearth (and probably any other opengl app), but rendering is even slower than before. Any ideas?
Here is the output of glxinfo, if that might be related...
