Hi all,

since i emerged the last baselayout update i have problems to shutdown the system correclty

[ebuild R ] sys-apps/baselayout-1.12.4-r7 USE="-bootstrap -build -static -unicode" 0 kB

problems show up as follows:
the shutdown process is initiated correctly until:
Code:

halt.sh line16 stop_addon  command not found
.."............17.........."................................
.."............27..ebegin.........command not found
[a lot of further command not found follows]
umount: udev busy  remount read-onl

and so on and so on

as far as i see i updated already the halt.sh and udev conf with etc-update

did anyone encountered or can solve this problem?

ok my guess was in the right direction.

lro from this thread:
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-457376-postdays-0-postorder-asc-highlight-stopaddon-start-50.html

brought the solution (to quote it):

Code:
cd /etc/init.d
rm halt.sh
rm shutdown.sh
rm reboot.sh
rm checkfs
USE="unicode -bootstrap -build -static" emerge baselayout
etc-update (I had nothing to do here)
