after i had gentoo running so good, i was playing with eth0 and did "dhcpcd eth0" and now X takes forever to load up and do anything in X. I am using a linksys rouyer set up as my dhcp server, What does dhcpcd wrtie to?
If I manualy configure conf.d/net to something different, X work great but I have no internet when i do that. so i set net file back to iface_eth0="dhcp" and then it starts back working slow again, ay ideas? |

If do killl dhcpd -k, k works great , but of course, no internet, then dhcpcd eth0 it goes back to very slow, like it takes evolution 3 minutes or so to load up. |
