Gentoo offers less translation than e.g. Mandrake. On Mandrake exists e.g. de-latin1-nodeadkeys.klt, de-latin1.klt (made with a lilo perl script) for keyboard support within lilo and grub. Furthermore there are a messages file in grub for german messages. Included with in grub:
i18n (hd0,0)/boot/grub/messages
keytable (hd0,0)/boot/de-latin1-nodeadkeys.klt
I think this and more should be included in the installations of grub and lilo by default (sure depending of used language) |
