Please tell me how do i install linux in this PocketPC, i have windows, and i dont want it no more.
I'm too noob in PDA arquitectures so please you can guide me step by step, i do not know any pda technical specifations.
All hardware specification are in this page (http://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/HpIpaqRX3715)

Thats not gone a be easy.
Realy hate to ruin your day, but while linux on the iPaq is within reach (there's a few distros out there), gentoo on it would require a lot of work - its a new architecture.
If you want it bad enough, you should first install another distro (google will know), and then try to bootstrap a gentoo system from there. Or you could crosscompile the complete toolchain and basesystem, put it on a CF-card and boot it from within windows CE.
None of thoose would be easy, I could not do it in half a man-year (might tell more about me though), but you might get lucky
A thing to look at could be www.emdebian.org |
