I know, this probaly totally wrong forum...
But i am on the live cd, trying to mount my floppy...
and now i am formatting it (dont ask why)
and dont know what size it got...
on it says

BASF
2HD
____MEGA



Someone know what size?
And i would like to know how to mount it

The size is 1.44MB.

Using 'umount' of course.
Just in case umount complains about 'device or filesystem is busy', you'll have to cd out of the mountpoint (presumably /mnt/floppy) before umounting.

it says this
Cannot create link /etc/mtab~
Perhaps there is a stale lock file?

Any idea about what it means?
