i used the guide @ http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Linux_Virtual_Hosting_Server to set up a virtual hosting server
how would i have to modify that to make everything available on the internet,
im about to get a domain name and would like to have the same functionality on the internet.
any help is appreciated

I'm not sure I follow your question, but if you are referring to DNS servers, check out everydns.org
They're free and have been real good to me.
