I'd like to see MoBlock in the official portage tree as well. I can't write an ebuild, but I've been using it for a few weeks and it seems to be working pretty well. |

No, and it shouldn't as it is completely useless. Blocking RIAA or whomever from connecting to you will not help if you are using BitTorrent, because they don't need to connect to you to see that you are sharing the files in question, so no, this is pretty much useless and you will have a false sense of security (as several of the last lawsuits were on people running PeerGuardian anyways).
Useless and it's best not to make people think they're going to be safe when they aren't. |
