i was wondering if anyone here can help me. i have been all over the internet searching for a way to get linux on a playstation 2. but since the sony kit was abandoned some years ago and theres no way to get ahold of it except for on ebay. i was wondering if there was alternative way to get linux on a ps2? thanks for any help |

Either eBay, or from Sony directly, would be the legal way to do it. I know that may not be what you want to hear... but that's the truth.
That said... steveo314 is right on the money. Seeing the subject "newb", does not tell me this thread has anything to do with Gentoo, the PlayStation 2, Linux, or anything in general.
