Hi,
I've done everything according to the guide:

Code:

localedef -i pl_PL -f UTF-8 pl_PL.UTF-8

and

Code:

Code Listing 2.3: Line in /etc/locale.gen
pl_PL.UTF-8 UTF-8

but when I type:

locale -a | grep 'pl_PL'

I get:

Code:

pl_PL
pl_PL.utf8

Shouldn't it be pl.PL.UTF-8 instead of pl.PL.utf8 :?:

Guide says that I should put:

LC_ALL="pl_PL.UTF-8"

in /etc/env.d/02locale, but maybe in that case it should be LC_ALL="pl_PL.utf8 :?:

Is it just me or everyone :?:

I think it used to be UTF-8 not utf8. Has anything changed recently :?:

ive seen the same thing, in some cases its utf8 (like the kernel) and utf-8 (like locale.gen and locales.build) _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. www.monkeydust.net
