|
|
Hi,
I've done everything according to the guide:
Code: | localedef -i pl_PL -f UTF-8 pl_PL.UTF-8 |
and
Code: | Code Listing 2.3: Line in /etc/locale.gen
pl_PL.UTF-8 UTF-8 |
but when I type:
Code: | locale -a | grep 'pl_PL' |
I get:
Shouldn't it be pl.PL.UTF-8 instead of pl.PL.utf8
Guide says that I should put:
Code: | LC_ALL="pl_PL.UTF-8" |
in /etc/env.d/02locale, but maybe in that case it should be LC_ALL="pl_PL.utf8
Is it just me or everyone I think it used to be UTF-8 not utf8. Has anything changed recently
Cheers - morda. |

ive seen the same thing, in some cases its utf8 (like the kernel) and utf-8 (like locale.gen and locales.build) _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved.
