J'utilisais mencoder et je ne le retrouve plus.
Idem pour sodipodi.
Ce n'est plus libre ?

Pour sodipodi, il me semble que le projet soit mort depuis quelques temps et soit maintenant remplacé par inkscape.

Inkscape est le fork de sodipodi qui a bien pris le relais
Pour mencoder, emerge mplayer, avec le USE encode

Et pour mencoder il fait partie du package media-video/mplayer
