Hi, All I'm installing Gentoo on a Compaq EVO D310 with integrated audio (AC97 compliant (Intel 845G Chipset)) Before installation of ALSA my KDE gave error when booting that no sound was found. Now, after installation of ALSA, no error, but also no SOUND ! Does anybody know how to solve this? Ronald.
