Running through the xgl how-to. Everything fine down to the emerge xgl compiz bit. xgl emerges just fine, but having a problem with compiz so I tried compiz-quinnstorm and same error (not unsurprising I guess), but on the plug-ins part, rather than the main program:

Actually? - yes I did, but thanks for the tip as I re-emerged and it all seems to have worked just fine.
