I have a Dell Enhanced keyboard and I am trying to get the extra keys working.

I would like to set up some short cut keys in KDE, but currently it does not look like the system is recognizing any of the extra keys. What do I need to mod/fix, in order to gain access to the extra keys? |

Try running xev (emerge xev if need be) and then pressing the keyboard button, If you recieve an event, find the part about keycode. Im not sure where to set bindings to keys in KDE, but in Fluxbox, all you need to do is put them in ~/.fluxbox/keys
Hopefully this helps, Good Luck. |
