So whats the word on Flash 8 or 9? Will we be seeing them in portage anytime soon? |

There is no flash 8 for Linux and afaik flash 9 for linux still hasn't been released. |

There is a blog by one of the guys working on the Flash9 project that you can read here: http://blogs.adobe.com/penguin.swf/
I've been keeping up with it. He discusses the APIs that they are using and has been asking people questions about what they think is the best way to proceed in certain areas. It looks like they will have a beta version available soon, although the scheduled release date for Flash9 is Q1 2007. |
