Hi,
habe ein Problem mit dem System! Ich wollte emerge --update --deep world ausführen nach installation des Basissystems. doch nach dem update bekomme ich beim booten nur errors von udev

Kann mir mal jemand helfen?

Hallo,
ich habe das das selbe Problem, hast du ne Lösung gefunden?
ich bekommen beim booten folgende Fehlermeldungen:

udevd-event: run program : exec of program '/sbin/udev_run_hotplugd' failed
udevd-event: run program : exec of program '/sbin/udev_run_devd' failed
|
Das ganze ist nach einem 'emerge --sync' gefolgt von einem 'emerge world -DuN' aufgetreten, das CDrw Laufwerk wird auch nicht mehr gefunden.

Es empfiehlt sich immer etc-update laufen zu lasssen nachdem etwas installiert/upgedated wurde - behebt viele Fehler meistens sogar bevor sie auftreten

Problem:
Ich hab etc-update nicht sofort laufen lassen, sondern erst als ich auf diesen Thread gestoßen bin. Hat aber leider nix an den vielen Textzeilen beim Booten geändert.
Muss ich irgentwelche Konfigurationsdatei anpassen? Oder wie kann man das Problem beheben? |

Mit etc-update passt du die config Dateien an.
Lies dir bitte durch, wie das funktioniert: man etc-update.

man-Page gelesen, war ja nicht viel
etc-update nochmal ausgeführt:
ergbnis:

Geändert hat sich also nix.
CONFIG_PROTECT ist | Code: | | /usr/share/X11/xkb /usr/kde/3.5/share/config /usr/kde/3.5/env /usr/kde/3.5/shutdown /usr/share/config |
CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK ist | Code: | /etc/java-config/vms/ /etc/env.d/java/ /etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/revdep-rebuild
|
Da ich die ._cfg-Dateien um die es mit hoher Warscheinlichkeit geht immer selbst überschrieben habe, vermute ich mal, dass ich dabei einen Fehler gemacht habe.
