|
|
I recently upgraded my system to GCC 4.4.1 - which took a huge amount of compiling and probably wasn't worth the bother - but anyway it may be unrelated but I now have a broken grip.
After selecting 'rip and encode' it rips the first track fine, but then immediately crashes (presumably just when it was going to start to flac encode). I just changed my config to oggenc and the same happens.
After the crash, it already has the WAV file so if I 'rip and encode' the same track, it crashes immediately.
Grip version 3.3.0 (which I have re-emerged since the upgrade and problem)

I switched to ~amd64 grip (3.3.1) and this solved the problem for me. |

Have a look at rubyripper (recently added to portage). _________________ "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves." - Abraham Lincoln
