Gentoo gurus,
What do you do to monitor CPU speed when you use KDE? I couldnt find a single decent applet.. may be I need to hone my googling skills

Thanks, this is usefull. I installed it. However I'll see if there are others.
Things I didnt like about it are: 1. it also shows temp, which I am not interested into and it wastes some space and 2. When the applet's width doesnt remain constant during updates, so that gives a jerky effect on panel..
no big problems but gnome's monitor was better.. |

I use app-admin/gkrellm with x11-plugins/gkrellm-plugins (http://www.gkrellm.net/) to interact with cpufreq
Perhaps the complete gkrellm is big for you but I think that you could disable to display all the stuff except the cpufreq informations _________________ Tin, the gentoobie |

what about integrating a ksysguard sheet containing "cpu0->clock frequency" into a panel with the system guard applet? _________________ Moved to using Arch Linux
