gnome 2.2 and gnome-theme-manager

I am having problems with gnome-theme-manager. If I am in gnome, running this programs gives a seg fault every time. However, if I try invoking gnome-theme-manager from outside gnome--say fluxbox--the program runs fine. Any ideas? I am running the latest gnome build (2.2-r2). I noticed that one of the r's included a downgrade of gnome-vfs. Do I need to recompile the package that includes gnome-theme-manager? If so, which package is this? Thanks

It segfaulted for me, because i didn't have permissions for ~/.themes -- fixing permissions fixed the segfault.

That did the trick! ~/.themes did not have read permission for some reason. Thanks for the help!

well, i got the same problem.
just installed gnome and gnome-theme-manager crashes with a fatal error due to seg fault. the ~/.themes permissions are alright.
