My older ThinkPad 600 loses keyboard if I'm changing to console from X, so I can't type anything after that and only Ctrl-Alt-Del reboots. Strange thing is that it doesn't happen all the time, but more often than not
It has been happening with about all 2.6.16 series kernel and with 2.6.17-r4 now, it's really annoying if I start updating the system within console and then starting X, then when I went back to console and need to update all configs with dispath-conf I couldn't cause only thing which works is reboot (this happend once and I had to fix the system with LiveCD)
& it can also happen if I just check the situation of update with Ctrl-Alt-F2 and go back to X with -F7. _________________ 1st use 'Search' & lastly add [Solved] to
