I'm running Gentoo in as a dual boot on my laptop, and I've noticed a strange thing: the "recieved" times for mail in my Gmail account are consistently +4 hours. I have everything (including Google) set to EST or -5:00 GST, and the system clocks on bpth Windows and Linux are fine - is this a bug in Firefox, or Gmail?

Thanks,
RS

what do you have in your /etc/conf.d/clock file for the CLOCK setting; it needs to be set to local for interoperability w/ windows.

CLOCK="local"

Thanks - I think I've started to rush through the Gentoo install Handbook :wink:
