For all you kernel testers, I can report 2.6.18-ck1 works great.
How about some new patch set releases from beyond and no, and of course anyone else who wants to, when mm1 comes out. _________________ Main box- AsRock x370 Gaming K4

I'm happy with what's in 2.6.18-ck1 personally, but it's not really anything too extravagant, I expect 2.6.18-mm1 to be more stable than some of the current -mm releases too that's what I'm waiting for.
But 2.6.18 doesnt please me, I'm more so looking forward to 2.6.19 and 2.6.20, because several things are getting merged in that time period, including reiser4. _________________ IRC!: #zen-sources on irc.rizon.net

yep, akpm said it will probably be queued for 2.6.20. -> http://lkml.org/lkml/2006/9/20/270
Quote: | I was planning on merging this, but the batch_write/writev problem
might wreck things, and I don't think the patches arising from my recent
partial review have come through yet. So it's looking more like 2.6.20. |

i cant wait for the threaded PCI and USB probing during boot from -mm to get into the stable kernel, that should speed up boot time nicely for us SMP people _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger. |

I used the kernel-2.6.18 patch from 8.28.8 driver-installer package to fix this |
