I unmerge python (please don't ask why :oops:

), now when I tried to emerge it I get the following

root # emerge python
/usr/bin/env: python2.2: No such file or directory

is there a way to reinstall python without emerge since emerge depends on python?

I do not have a Gentoo cd for Mac (but if need be I will burn one, but I can not boot from it..Old World Mac).
