|
|
I have just managed to set up twin view on my GeForce4 card.
In Windows XP it is possible to set the TV-out port to automatically view a movie (played with Media Player) in full screen on the TV even though the movie is played in a window on the monitor.
Is this possible in Linux and XFree? Which movie player should I use?
Regards

On a related note, I'd like to know if it's possible to scale the TV display. As I run X at 1280x1024, the TVout displays only the top-left corner of the screen.
I've read through the documentation, and I don't see any options for this, but as Windows does it by default, I'm sure it's possible...though perhaps not with X. |

Are you using xawtv? If so, try the "grabdisplay" playback option instead of "overlay" That should allow you to scale it. |
