aiglx and videos, vlc not working correctly

i just installed aiglx and it works great, much faster than XGL...
BUT... vlc and all other video-player i tried dont do their normal job anymore:
they show the video as long as i keep focus on the movie. if i loose focus the video turns black.
the only plugin that almost works in vlc is the "Simple DirectMedia Layer video output".

when i start vlc from the command-line i get this error:

Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "crux-engine"

but i also get this error if start other apps, i think.

when i use the task switcher my machine also doesnt show the video as it used to in XGL

any help is very welcome

If you're using compiz, could you verify whether the videos play properly without its running?

works like a charm if i deactivate compiz.

after recreating the compiz profile i dont get the error anymore, but video doesnt work anyway.

if i use the x11-video-outpu plugin it works for some reason.
i hope this is not a permanent error and will be fixed sometime.
