I have almost everything working in my laptop but i can't make the processor slow down Mhz.
When I ahve suse on it works fine if I unplug the ac the processor goes to 800Mhz but now with gentoo it's always in 1600 Mhz. Anyone knows how to control de cpufreq in gentoo?
the processor is an AMD Mobile sempron 2800+ and supportt 800Mhz and 1.6Ghz |

same here laptop compaq v2000 sempron mobile 3000+
in ubuntu it runs fine.
with rc-update show:
running cpufreqd
cpufrequtils
acpid
can anyone help us???
