I have a LCD touchscreen that has a dynapro compatible touch controller. I am trying to get it up and running under Gentoo. I have xorg-x11 7.0-r1 and dynapro is in my INPUT_DEVICES list.

Code:

(chroot) james ~ # emerge -av xorg-x11 xf86-input-dynapro

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild   R   ] x11-base/xorg-x11-7.0-r1  USE="-3dfx" INPUT_DEVICES="dynapro elo2300 elographics evdev joystick keyboard magictouch microtouch mouse -acecad -aiptek -calcomp -citron -digitaledge -dmc -fpit -hyperpen -jamstudio -magellan -mutouch -palmax -penmount -spaceorb -summa -synaptics -tek4957 -ur98 -vmmouse -void -wacom" VIDEO_CARDS="fbdev neomagic trident vesa vga via -apm -ark -chips -cirrus -cyrix -dummy -fglrx -glint -i128 -i740 -i810 -imstt -mach64 -mga (-newport) -nsc -nv -nvidia -r128 -radeon -rendition -s3 -s3virge -savage -siliconmotion -sis -sisusb (-sunbw2) (-suncg14) (-suncg3) (-suncg6) (-sunffb) (-sunleo) (-suntcx) -tdfx -tga -tseng -v4l -vmware -voodoo" 0 kB
[ebuild   R   ] x11-drivers/xf86-input-dynapro-1.0.0.5  USE="-debug" 0 kB

Total size of downloads: 0 kB

Here is the error in my log file:
Code:

(II) LoadModule: "dynapro_drv"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input/dynapro_drv.so
(EE) LoadModule: Module dynapro_drv does not have a dynapro_drvModuleData data object.
(II) UnloadModule: "dynapro_drv"
(II) Unloading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input/dynapro_drv.so
(EE) Failed to load module "dynapro_drv" (invalid module, 0)

Except for this error X loads and runs fine. I could post my entire X.org.0.log, but I don't think it is needed.

I have Googled for the error and have not found anything helpful.

Thanks,
James
