Hi!
I used to install the yaps pagersoftware via a selfbuilt portage overlay.
When I switched my locale to UTF-8, yaps filtered my german umlauts:
"Schön" -> "Schn"
"Männer" -> "Mnner"
"Soße" -> "Soe"
...
I was happy, when I found an official ebuild in portage with "unicode" useflag.
But unfortuantely this was just to convert the doc files and man page to UTF-8.
The messages I send, are still without umlauts.
Any ideas?
Thanks and regards,
Simon |
