I'm trying to use nautilus with fluxbox by doing the nautilus --no-desktop option, but for somereason when i open it up it has no theme untill i run gnome-theme-manager and then close it, any ideas on whats causing this? Actually, I guess I can tel it tor run gnome-theme-manager and then killall -9 gnome-theme-manager during startup but thats still sort of wierd... |

Install gtk-theme-switch.
open switch2 choose the theme and font you want all your gtk2 apps to have.
copy ~/.gtkrc-2.0 to ~/.gtkrc.mine
open ~/.gtkrc.mine
and add this line
| Code: | | gtk-icon-theme-name = "Lila" |
Where Lila is the Icon theme you want to use.
For reference this is my .gtkrc.mine

I'm with the same problem here. I'm using enlightenment and the nautilus --no-desktop here, but no icons appears. I tried what you said, but it seems to not work here... and I am using gtk-chthemes instead gtk-theme-switch.
My .gtkrc.mine:
