I am trying to install ROX as my file manager for Fluxbox. I was following the guide on gentoo website but then I saw the guide on the wiki. On the wiki they use Rox and Rox-Session. I know that this is a session manager but what is a session manager and Should I install it also with rox?
I also tried to install gentoo filemaneger, to see which I like but I cannot get it to open at all. When I click on it, nohing happens. Any ideas? |

If you just want to use rox as a file manager (b/c it can also manage icons on the desktop and background picture), then you don't need to do anything extra: just "emerge rox", and then you run it by "rox" in terminal, or you click on "rox" in your menu. _________________ (I love deadlines. Try running it from a terminal and see if you get any error messages there _________________ AMD Athlon64 X2 4200+ AM2
