HELP! restoring mysql data without a backup

I realize this is probably a false hope, but if there is any chance of restoring mysql data from before a query, please anyone let me know.

I've just accidentally deleted all the data from a table in a very active server that I run. The last backup is a week old and no longer useable.

Is there any hope of restoring this data?

any useful suggestions are welcome.

If there has been any appreciable activity on the db then no, otherwise a data recovery specialist *might* be able to get some of it back. The data is pretty much gone.

Backups are your friend
