Ciao a tutti
ho configurato l'usb dal kernel
quando monto l'unità mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb
entro dentro /mnt/usb e vedo tutti i file
l'unica cosa che non monta l'icona sul desktop per poter accedere da li
cosa puà essere?

Senti se non ci dici nemmeno che desktop usi come pensi ti si possa rispondere?
Prima di postare pensa: "se mi facessero una domanda del genere e io non sapessi nulla di cosa si stia parlando capirei qualcosa?"
Se la risposta è no allora riformula la domanda

perchè ho notato che spesso fa casini kde.
ma dimmi.
ma tu non dovresti montare /dev/sda
invece di sdb?? mah
cmq, controlla che l'icona su desktop punti alla cartella corretta! perchè sennò è giusto che non funzi!

|
"avere l'icona sul desktop" è un po vago come quesito. Dovresti dire l'ambiente che usi, per esempio se hai gnome, lui fa tutto in automatico (montaggio e creazione icona) tramite hal e gnome-volume-manager.

Bene, allora hai configurato bene hal? In particolare devi attivare il servizio hald, aggiungere il tuo utente al gruppo plugdev e infine attivare gnome-volume-manager nella sessione di GNOME, fatto ciò, i dispositivi usb verranno montati in automatico non appena vengono inseriti.
