Hello,
In the Xgl manual is written that one has to unmask a lot of packages. (http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_XGL#Unmasking_relevant_packages)
My first question: Lots of these packages are already stable, but do I even have to add them to package.keywords, so is the current stable version of these packages "not enough" to get Xgl running?
I was taken aback because cairo has no png support yet, although it could be wanted by Xgl. At least this wiki alludes to add png pdf and glitz to package.use for cairo. I guess the newest and unstable version could have it.
My second question:
Why do I have to delete cairo off the world file? I don't understand the sense of it. _________________ vorher: Gentoo Reptile |
