Titel sollte einiges sagen. Nachdem ich in meinem 64bit Gentoo einige Probleme mit Software hatte, wollte ich jetzt auf i686 umsteigen. Da ich noch ein Ubuntu am Laufen hatte, hab ich die Installation dort im Terminal und chroot durchgeführt. Hat alles wunderbar geklappt, Gnome kompiliert, alls ohhne Fehler... Als ich dann den Xserver starten wollte, brachte der nur "No core keyboard". Hier die Meldung:

Ich kenne jemanden, der sich auch sehr intensiv mit Gentoo beschäftigt und hier sicher auch im Forum angemeldet ist und mir bisher bei jedem Problem helfen konnte. Ab er ist mittlerweile ratlos.
Bisher habe ich mehrmals die xorg.conf neu geschrieben mit xorgconfig und bei Bedarf die Einstellungen angepasst. Ich hab keine Ahnung, was ich noch tun sollte. In der Kernel-Konfiguration kann ich auch nichts finden. Habe normalerweise eine USB-Tastatur, die ich mit ein wenig frickeln auch unterstützt bekommen habe. Mit einer normalen PS/2 funktioniert es jedoch auch nicht.
Wäre sehr dankbar, wenn mir hier jemand helfen könnte...

edit: Was ich noch sagen wollte: Ich kann zwar "kbd" installieren ohne Fehler, aber das bringt auch nichts...

Ja habe ich, neu installieren hat aber auch nichts gebracht... |

Glaubt es mir oder nicht... Mein X funktioniert samt Gnome auf einmal...
ConiKost hier aus dem Forum hat mal per SSH nur in der xorg.conf "kbd" durch "keyboard" ersetzt... Nachdem das nicht funktioniert hat, hab ich es wieder in kbd geändert... Prompt funktioniert es...
Hat sich also somit geklärt  |
