When I attempt to emerge Hal it dies on the following:
Code:
/usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6.14/backends/html: line 6: 26969 Aborted           $SGML_JADE -t sgml $SGML_ARGUMENTS
make[3]: *** [hal-spec.html] Error 8

make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/hal-0.5.7.1-r1/work/hal-0.5.7.1/doc'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/hal-0.5.7.1-r1/work/hal-0.5.7.1'
make: *** [all] Error 2

!!! ERROR: sys-apps/hal-0.5.7.1-r1 failed.
Call stack:
  ebuild.sh, line 1546:   Called dyn_compile
  ebuild.sh, line 937:   Called src_compile
  hal-0.5.7.1-r1.ebuild, line 144:   Called die

!!! make failed
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if relevant.

Can anyone please assist as to what my problem is and how I might fix it?

Help would be much appreciated,
PhantmShado

try adding it to your package.keywords
Code:
nano -w /etc/portage/package.keywords

add this to it
    sys-apps/hal

Alas it did not work, any other ideas as to what my issue could be?

Thanks,
